Essar wanted to conduct CBM gas exploration and required drilling rigs that could withstand geological challenges presented at the site.
Solution
The team re-designed the core drilling rig to have enough pulling and drilling power to be able to tackle any demanding conditions.
Following the design approval, the team produced a prototype, tested it, and checked its quality in accordance with the client's demands. Kores KDR-1500 is a hydrostatic drilling rig with a 3-meter stroke and a 6-meter pull. The machine's high speed & torque ensures increased productivity for CBM exploration.
