SPS Geomining was using higher drilling capacity rigs for mineral exploration. Unfortunately, the operational cost was high, and the performance wasn’t satisfactory. They wanted a cost-effective rig with reduced drilling capacity.
Solution
We designed and modified the drilling rigs according to the client's specifications. The model is a hydrostatic drilling rig with a 3-meter stroke developed for coal and mineral exploration. The machine's high speed & torque ensures increased productivity and less fuel consumption.
This model has a fuel-efficient engine to bring down operational costs. Upon using KDR 300, SPS Geomining's diesel cost was reduced by 50%. After the model was introduced in the market, we received multiple orders nationally and internationally.
After replacing Kores's new machines, our daily progress has increased a lot & our cost of drilling has come down drastically.
