OUR CLIENT/CASE STUDY

KDR-150

Prism Cement was using a mechanical rig to drill the limestone. But there were several obstacles — low performance, reduced productivity, and sifting difficulty. The operating cost to run the mechanical rig was quite high. They wanted a powerful and efficient drilling rig.

Solution

The team held interviews with the stakeholders, managers, and technicians to understand the problem. Based on the discussions, they designed a customised drilling rig to solve the client's challenges.

Kores Engineering introduced KDR-150, a hydrostatic drilling rig with a 3-meter stroke developed for limestone & coal exploration. The machine's high speed & torque ensures increased productivity and less fuel consumption.

Key Achievements:

Prism Cement could drill 2.5 times more each month. The client has since then placed repeated orders with Kores Engineering.
