KDR-2000
Pinnacle Exploration wanted to conduct CBM gas exploration and required drilling rigs that could withstand geological challenges presented at the site. At that time, there weren’t any drilling rigs in India capable of drilling 2000 meters deep.
Solution
The team re-designed the core drilling rig to have enough pulling and drilling power to be able to tackle any demanding conditions.
Following the design approval, the team produced a prototype, tested it, and checked its quality in accordance with the client's demands. Kores KDR-2000 is a hydrostatic drilling rig with a 6-meter stroke and 9-meter pull. The machine's high speed & torque ensures increased productivity for CBM exploration.
Initially, we purchased five machines in 2008, the first time in India, Due to Kores' at-site training, service support & machine performance, we could achieve our all targets & our Management agreed to place a repeat order for five more rigs in 2009.
